Full Charge Bookkeeper in Grand Rapids, MI

A non-profit organization is looking to add a part time Full Charge Bookkeeper. The organization is located in downtown Grand Rapids and in need of assistance at least twenty hours a week, but may be as much as 30. The ideal candidate will be able to work daily, be very trustworthy with confidential details and non-judgmental of those living in poverty.The Full Charge Bookkeeper will be responsible for all of the daily Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, journal entries, general ledger work, payroll and preparation of financial statements. Must have a solid, overall accounting experience as this position will help create the accounting processes and procedures. An Associates degree or Bachelor's degree would be a plus. Intermediate technical skills are a necessity with both QuickBooks and Ms excel.
