Mid-size Grand Rapids apartment complex seeks a full-time, detail oriented individual for a maintenance position. Applicant will be responsible for completing on-site maintenancerepair work under the supervision of the property manager. Position is primarily responsible for repairing apartment unit interiors and fixtures, painting, common areas, grounds and maintaining property exteriors. Position will frequently work with outside contractors. RESPONSIBILITIES -Basic Carpentry trim doors,replace broken window pane, screen door, re-screening, etc. -Basic Electrical Repair replacing wall switches, wall plugs, inside and outside fixtures, etc -Minor Plumbing -Minor Painting and Touch up -Basic Dry Wall Repair holes, nail pops, cutting out holes and properly installing replacement drywall as needed, taping, mudding, and sanding to paint ready surface -Micellaneous Minor repairs of property equipmentQualified individual must have-At least 2yrs experience in property maintenance-Proven expertise to work as a team player-The expertise to diagnose and complete required maintenancerepair work -Previous renovation experience wanted-A current drivers license-HVAC certification preferred, not requiredMust be able to clear a experience checkThis is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
